Pesto Sauce

  • About 2 bunches of fresh basil (should basically fill blender)
  • 1/2 cup roasted pine nuts
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • Approximately 1/2 cup olive oil

Blend basil, pinenuts, garlic and parmesan in blender. Slowly add olive oil, pulsing while adding. Last, stir in lemon juice. Taste and add salt if you like (I usually find the parm and nuts create enough salt.)
