Triple Berry Cobbler

  • 16 oz frozen berries (I used a triple berry blend available through Aldi with strawberries, blackberries and raspberries)
  • 3/4 c sugar (divided)
  • 1 c flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 c milk

Simmer fruit and 1/4 c sugar over medium heat for 5-7 minutes. Cut any large chunks of fruit into bite size pieces as they thaw. While that is simmering, mix flour, baking powder and salt together. Stir in milk and stir just until all ingredients are wet. Butter or grease a pie plate. Pour fruit mixture into plate. Top with batter. Bake at 350 degrees for approximately one hour or until top is golden brown.
